Orbit Lightning Pro Tandem, 22/18 Size, Excellent Condition

Tandem supplied by JD Tandems, the Lightning Pro was a higher spec fast touring tandem, available on the JD Tandems website until recently.
Short description:-
Shimano 105 2x11 speed gearing, rear derailleur is Shimano Ultegra
Alex G 6000 rims on JD Tandem Hubs, 40 spokes front, 48 spoke Rear.  TRP heavy duty Vee brake front, TRP SPYR rear disc brake, 203mm rotor, TRP heavy duty Vee brake as third (rear) brake, controlled by bar end friction lever.  Velo saddles, sprung rear seat-post, mudguards, rear rack, and three bottle cages.  I am 5 ft 10, my wife is 5ft 7, and the machine fitted us perfectly.
The tandem has covered just over 500 miles from new, and is in virtually new condition:-  blemishes limited to:-

• Scuff on end of front right-hand crank (see photograph)
• Paint chip on rear seat stay (see photograph)
• Light cosmetic corrosion of bolts on the rear rack

The tandem comes with a Pendle 'fork-end mount' car roof carrier, and can be supplied with the Shimano SPD pedals shown in photograph if required.
