Tandem Club Whats On

If you participate in any ride organised by or in the name of The Tandem Club, you do so entirely at your own risk. The Club, its officers and ride organisers accept no responsibility for any loss, damage to property, accident, injury or death that may occur, however caused, whether by negligence, deliberate act or otherwise. These rides are organised for members of the Tandem Club, please join the club.

| Thameswey | John & Pat's ride Starting from Winnersh Garden Centre at 10:00. 18 miles, Average . The ride will start at Winnersh Garden Centre 656 Reading Road, Winnersh RG41 5HG , it is a venue we have used in the past. The usual request please park on the gravel car park away from the visiting public if possible. They have a coffee shop which will open at 10.00am and we hope to manage to get away by 10.30am ( it never happens , or very rarely ! ) on a ride of 18.6 miles going through Wargrave , Crazies Hill, Cockpole Green , Pudding Hill, Burchets Green, White Waltham and Littlewick Green. The lunch stop is The Cricketers , Coronation Road, Littlewick Green SL6 3RA, the Sunday Lunch Menu is enclosed. As usual they would like advance orders by Wednesday 16th September please if you would mind letting us know by that date .email goshjohn@live.co.uk please ask John for the menu and GPX file if you're coming The return ride is direct, 10.6 miles through Dinton Pastures if not too busy. We look forward to meeting up next weekend with as many of you who are able to attend John and Pat There are a couple of " off road " sections which when tested were solid and reliable and not overgrown. There are as the names suggest and couple of hills nothing too desperate, as Peter Rouse would say " a slight inclination " We will pass the Dew Drop Inn set up in the woods, no stopping this time round, and cycle round White Waltham Airport.
